Sixth International Conference of the CIS IHSS on
humic innovative technologies
"Humic substances and ecoadaptive technologies"
HIT-2021
Dear Colleagues!
We invite you to take part at the Sixth International Conference on Humic Innovative Technologies "Humic Substances and Eco-Adaptive Technologies ”(HIT – 2021), which is held under auspices of the Regional CIS Chapter of the International Humic Substances Society (IHSS) and the Lomonosov Moscow State University, Department of Chemistry.
Conference dates:
September 25-29, 2021
Conference Venue:
Sailing Club "Vodnik", Dolgoprudny, Moscow Region, Russia
The goal of the conference is to demonstrate the leading role of humic substances in adaptation of the global ecosystem to climate change and in the processes of carbon sequestration. This will advocate the key role of humic substances in developing eco-adaptive technologies relay on nature’s mastery and mechanisms used for reclamation and restoration disturbed ecosystems.
A separate and large topic of the conference will be a definition of humic substances, its harmonization with the approaches of the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC). The problem of definition is a key to the further progress in the field of standardization and use of humic substances. Particular attention will be paid to the non-fuel use of coal in the form of chemical products and materials, issues of its processing with zero emissions of carbon dioxide (ecoadaptive broown coal refinery).
An exhibition of humic products and analytical equipment for assessing the quality of humic substances is planned within the framework of the conference.
The conference will take place in a hybrid format: face-to-face and online participation. We really hope to see everyone who cannot get to Vodnik, at least, on our monitors.
Welcome to HIT-2021!
We are waiting for you all — we long for seeing you badly!
Sincerely,
Irina V. Perminova,
